We are unable to accept credit card payment, sorry.
We are however happy to accept:
- Cash on collection
- Cash paid into our high street Halifax account
- Electronic Bank transfer
- Paypal payments can be made on smaller purchases provided paypal fees are covered.
- Cheques, made payable to 'Triona
Limited', will need a good 10 days to clear. Sorry but this is what the banks specify. No international cheques.
Please be aware that international bank transfers can take 4 or 5 days to reach my account. Goods can not be shipped until my bank informs me the funds have arrived.
All prices that you see on this web site have no VAT to add unless
specifically stated. We are VAT registered but there is no additional
VAT to pay and no VAT can be claimed back if you are a business purchasing.
All prices on this web site are in UK pounds sterling.
Collection of goods
We anticipate that most people will want to come and
view a lathe before committing to purchase one, and will take advantage
of being here to take the lathe home with them.
Delivery of goods
We are able to deliver any item however if the item
is large, for example a lathe or stand, and needs to be delivered
on a pallet, we will need to know if there is restriced access to
the delivery address, in which case we can request a smaller 7.5 ton
lorry with a tail lift facility.
Due to the fact that the items for sale here are second
hand it is important that you are absolutely sure an item is what
you require. We are happy to provide high definition photos of any
specific parts of a machine, and to answer any technical questions,
in order to make your decision easier, and will not be able to accept
return of a lathe which is later found not to be suitable for your
particular needs, if they have not been notified to us.
We have shipped lathes all over the world, including America, Europe,
Japan, Australia, and Canada. Just let me know your address and,
if outside Europe, your nearest shipping port. We will then be able
to quote a delivery/shipping cost.
During the delivery of goods to you the customer, any import duty/taxes,
local taxes and port's release fees will not be paid for by Triona
Ltd and are the responsibility of you the customer.
UK and EU Customers
Under the Distance Selling Regulations 2000 you have a right
to a cooling off period of seven working days commencing the day
after you receive the goods. You must notify us in writing, or
by e-mail that you wish to exercise these rghts. However, please
be aware that if you decide to change your mind, you will be responsible
for the safe packing and return transportation of the unused goods
and any associated costs such as insurance. Upon safe receipt
and inspection we will arrange a refund of the price paid. In
the event you wish us to arrange collection, the shipping/insurance
costs as notified to you will be deducted from your refund. Because
shipping costs and insurance are high, we would respectfully suggest
that you make all necessary enquiries to ensure the product is
the right one for you before ordering.
Please note that once you have used, modified or altered a lathe
in any way you will lose the right to change your mind given by
the Distance Selling Regulations.
Non UK and EU Customers
Because all our lathes are specialist items prepared by us, we
are confident that no faulty items will be despatched. Second
hand goods will have characteristics, such as superficial marking
to metal parts, chips on paintwork etc., which differentiate them
from brand new items. Such characteristics will not be considered
to be faults and therefore you are advised to seek our advice
if in doubt about any product. If however, you are unhappy about
any aspect of your purchase we will be happy to discuss in line
with our commitment to first class customer service.
If goods are recieved damaged you must inform us immediately. Claims can only be made providing you have paid for posting/shipping insurance. Sometimes there is a limit to a claim so the total value of the goods might not be covered. In such cases you will be informed of this prior to you purchasing. Goods sent outside the EU, that arrived damaged, are not covered by EU trading legistation.

Definition: "Conditions" means these terms
We endevour to give an accurate description, however
everyones view on condition of second hand goods is different. With
this in mind please ask as many questions as you like and ask for

This is no problem for us to arrange.

- change the Conditions from time to time, and your continued use
of the Website (or any part thereof) following such change shall
