7 1/4" Heisler USA Logging Locomotive. Part built with lots of very good work done and a New Professionally made Steel Boiler with Copper tubes & certification.
Chassis done, with V twin engine built with reversing gear. This loco had front and rear bogies (one done and the other well on the way) driven via a drive shaft from the V twin to the axel's bevel gear housing. The smoke box, chimney, light and door all done. The ash pan and grate also done to a high standard.
This will be quite a stunning locomotive, especially with what looks to be a high standard of workmanship so far.
Great to have the professionally made and unused boiler with all the builder's creditation and certification. We also have the initial club hydraulic, twice working pressure shell test and also the builder's material details with samples.
We also have a group of drawings (not checked if all there) along with the Heisler build book by Kozo Hiraoka.
Other parts present too, like the 2 boiler steam pressure valves and pressure gauge.
Approx dimensions are 160cm long, 80cm wide and 60cm tall. Total weight with boiler is approx 180Kg.
